Details:
Up for sale is an authentic, original Vietnam War era U.S. Army tropical combat jungle jacket dated exactly to 1968. It features the highly sought-after, early green-dominant (\"lime/lowland\") ERDL leaf camouflage pattern. Key design attributes include the classic asymmetrical slanted chest cargo pockets, bottom bellows pockets, hidden button-front wind flap, and dual-button adjustable cuffs. All internal specification and laundering instruction tags are completely original, tightly stitched, and legible.
Condition:
Good vintage, combat-issued condition. The colors remain distinct with light fading appropriate for its age. There are scattered character-building flaws, including a few small fray holes on the sleeves and pocket edges. Notably, the lower back hem features a large, period-style rectangular stitch reinforcement used to stabilize a rough tear (see photos). All original buttons are intact and secure. Ideal for collectors of militaria or vintage street-wear enthusiasts.
