This item is a beautiful vintage hand-finished ceramic pitcher dated 2-15-68 by MR.
This piece is a studio ceramic reproduction of the famous 19th-century Victorian "Apostles Jug" originally designed by Charles Meigh in 1842. It features intricate Gothic archways framing the Apostles, an ornate vessel handle topped with a carved face, and a soft sage green antiqued glaze finish over off-white ceramic. It is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
