Read):• Clock & Lights: Tested! The clock mechanism runs and appears to keep proper time. Both internal lights function as they should, throwing off a beautiful, warm vintage glow.
• Pendulum: The pendulum does not currently swing on its own. It appears to just be off-balance and may require a simple adjustment or alignment to catch properly.• Motor: The motor is quite loud when running, which is very common for these 50+ year old synchronous clock motors. For this reason, it is likely not suitable to be left plugged in full-time in its current state without maintenance/oiling.• Electrical Safety: While the lights and clock function, the wiring is original. For safety and peace of mind, this item is being sold with the recommendation that the buyer rewire the electrical components and power cord.Cosmetic Condition:
• Housing & Face: Shows beautiful, genuine vintage character with typical scuffs and scrapes from age and handling. There are no cracks found anywhere in the plastic body or face.
• Trim & Labels: There is some minor paint wear and chipping on the inner silver trim edges. The original reverse backing labels are fully intact and highly legible, including the original operating instructions and code number P-762-T.
