Vintage 1960s General Electric P780 Portable Transistor Radio For Sale

Up for sale is my 60s General Electric P780, I believe it is an 'A' variant, however I'll admit it was missing the battery door, so I installed a battery door from a 'B' variant. I spent many long hours working on this set, recapping it and aligning it. I believe the original audio driver transistor was shorted, so I changed that guy out. the set works and sounds great. Has a background hiss in the audio from the amp/output section but other than that it absolutely sounds amazing and crystal clear. Would be a great set for DX'ing, it just sits and collects dust here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask or send an offer! I'll bench test the set for a few hours prior to mailing it.
