Vintage 1960s Blue Confetti Spatter Melmac Serving Bowl 12\" MCM Aztec Style For Sale

This large handled bowl dates to approximately the 1960s and features a swirling mix of cobalt and cornflower blue, yellow, green and occasional orange flecks against a creamy pale blue/white background. The colors appear throughout the material, creating the classic confetti look associated with vintage melamine and Melmac kitchenware.

The bowl has a generous rounded shape with two integrated handles, making it both a striking display piece and a very practical serving bowl.

Measures approximately 12 inches across and 3 inches deep, the same size and shape as the yellow confetti bowl I am also listing separately.

The piece is unmarked, so I cannot confirm the manufacturer. Its form and material are consistent with mid-century melamine serving pieces from the 1950s–60s, including examples often attributed to Aztec and similar makers.

Condition: Good vintage condition with normal surface wear and light scratching from decades of use. No cracks or major damage noted.

The pattern on this one is especially fun. Up close, the individual bits of blue, yellow, green and orange give it an almost terrazzo or recycled-confetti appearance, while from a distance the colors blend into a soft blue-green.

A terrific piece for a mid-century modern kitchen, retro table setting, picnic or buffet, and large enough for salad, pasta, fruit, chips, rolls or other serving use.
