Vintage 1960s BOAC British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) Cunard Line Flight Travel Bag.Vintage and faded but original with working zipper; some white paint marks on it and dust from sitting for decades but it is fully intact.In 1962, BOAC and CunardLine formed BOAC-Cunard Ltd. to operate scheduled services to North America, the Caribbean and South America. BOAC provided 70% of the new company\'s capital and eight Boeing 707s. The independent Cunard Eagle Airways,of which Cunard held a 60% shareholding, provided two more 707s. This BOAC-Cunard Ltd. company was short-lived British Airline operating from 1962 to 1966, when BOAC bought out Cunard, returning all operations to BOAC. This travel bag is from that 1960\'s short-lived airlines company. The bag measures 16\" long and 5\" wide at the base and is 11-1/2\" tall. The inside has a plastic foldable floor so the bag can be flattened. The bag is made of vinyl with a vinyl fabric exterior. It shows wear and fading but is an original collectible piece!
