Up for sale is a Vintage 1960 Girl Scouts of America “Girl Scout Handbook”! This Girl Scouts Handbookis identified as the “New Edition” (originally published in 1953) of the “Intermediate Program” and is the twenty-second impression published in January 1960 by the GirlScouts of the USAin New York, NY. This is a softcover handbook measuring about 8” x 5½”. As shown in the photos, the handbook is in very good condition for its age with some cover and soiling, including two chipped corners and stress lines along its spine. The handbook is complete and remains well bound with a slight slant. The original owner’s name and address are noted in pencil on the “My Girl Scout Record” pages as shown. The handbook has generally clean pages with some corner creasing, no other writing, and no rips or tears. There may be some light foxing or spotting. This vintage Girl Scouts Handbook would make a great addition to your collection!
