Original vintage AMF Wen-Mac Premium Racing Glow Plug Engine Fuel metal can, produced for Wen-Mac .049 and other miniature model-airplane engines. This scarce 1/2-pint advertising tin features colorful jet and propeller-aircraft graphics on both sides.
The can likely dates from approximately 1959–1963. AMF acquired Wen-Mac in 1959, while the “Los Angeles 64, California” postal-zone address predates the nationwide ZIP Code system introduced in 1963.
The can is in well-used, unrestored vintage condition. It has considerable surface wear, scratches, finish loss, discoloration, oxidation, small rust spots and staining. The printed graphics and wording remain visible, although portions show substantial wear. The original threaded metal cap is present. No major crushing or large punctures are visible in the photographs.
