Up for sale is a genuine authentic vintage 1955 cardboardCowboy mask of "Texas Ed", originally featured as a back-panelcutout premium on Wheaties cereal boxes for the classicLong Ranger series.
Condition Details:
-Structure: Good sturdy vintage condition for its age. The cardstock is structurally sound and is NOT ripped or torn through (The reverse side is completely clean and solid)
Appearance:
Features the classic "Texas Ed" artwork with rich dark tones,stubble, and the iconic orange hat. There is a tiny sliver of theof the adjacent character's feather visible near the brim, exactlyas it was printed on the factory sheets.
Vintage Tape:
There is original vintage tape present on the front hat brim.(as clearly shown on the photos). We have left this completelyoriginal and as-found to preserve the piece - no attempts havebeen made to remove it, protecting the paper surface.
Shipping and Preserving:We handle vintage paper items with extreme care so they arriveexactly as pictured.
-The mask will be placed in a protective plastic sleeve to guard against moisture.-It will be sandwiched between two rigid pieces of thick oversized postal cardboard so it cannot bend or be damaged by a buyer's opening knife.-Shipped in a flat mailer clearly marked "DO NOT BEND."
