Up for sale is a piece of local history: a vintage celluloid pinback button from Willow Grove Park's 58th season, featuring pass number 158. Manufactured by the prominent Philadelphia Badge Co., as clearly stamped along the rim curve, this pin can be dated exactly to the park’s 1954 summer season (counting from the park's 1896 opening). This iconic amusement park operated for eighty years before permanently closing its gates in 1975/1976. The front shows surface age, light scrapes, scratches, and minor nicks/flea bites along the rim. The reverse metal back exhibits substantial patina, oxidation, and surface rust wear consistent with its age. Ships safely from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
