Up for sale is an incredibly rare, museum-grade piece of Zippo history.This is a 100% original, complete time-capsule set featuring a 1952 Korean War-Era Transitional \"Steelie\" Zippo Lighter, complete with its original red-and-white candy-striped box, trifold instruction sheet, and original guarantee paper.This lighter features crisp, clean corporate advertising on the front for \"EDWARDS IRON WORKS\" (South Bend, Indiana). It is completely UNFIRED and remains in pristine New Old Stock condition.Historical & Mechanical Highlights:

• The \"Steelie\" Case: Due to Korean War brass shortages, this case is made of chrome-plated steel. It is fully magnetic and features the vintage Patent 2032695 bottom stamp with a tight 5-barrel hinge.
• The Crossover Insert: A perfect historical transition piece. The inner insert is also fully magnetic steel, featuring the newer Patent 2517191 stamp alongside the rare, highly collectible hollow flint wheel rivet.
• Unfired Condition: The chimney is completely spotless with zero carbon or strike marks. The original wick is bright white, pristine, and has never seen lighter fluid.
