Vintage 1950s Zippo Regular Lighter – Satin / Brushed Chrome

Classic mid-century Zippo windproof lighter in the popular satin / brushed chrome finish. Bottom stamp reads:
ZIPPO MFG. CO. BRADFORD, PA.
MADE IN ZIPPO U.S.A.
PAT. 2517191 ® PAT. PEND.
This “full stamp” configuration with both the 2517191 patent number and PAT. PEND. dates the case to the early-to-mid 1950s (circa 1953–1955, with some overlap into the 1949–1957 period). Made in Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA.

• Model: Regular size Zippo
• Finish: Satin / brushed chrome
• Insert: Appears original period insert with chimney and flint wheel
• Hinge: 5-barrel style typical of the era
Condition:
Used vintage condition with expected wear for a 70-year-old lighter. Surface scratches, light dings, and age-related marks on the case and lid (see photos). Lid opens and closes. Flint wheel and chimney present. Sold as a collectible — I have not fueled or fully tested for a sustained flame. Will need flint, wick, and Zippo fluid to use.
A solid example of a 1950s full-stamp Zippo that collectors look for. Great for a vintage collection, display, or everyday carry restoration.
