Vintage 1950s Wyeth Sopronol Powder Advertising Tin Can! Original Paper Label! Half Full!
Up for sale is a Vintage Wyeth “Sopronol Powder” Advertising Tin! This brand of propionate-caprylates compound was sold by Wyeth Laboratories in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for athletes foot in the early 1950s! This is a 2 oz. shaker style advertising tin measuring about 4⅛” tall x 1¾” diameter with its original paper label. The tin is at least half full with vintage powder inside. The container has classic advertising graphics in yellow and blue featuring the Wyeth logo and directions for use. The tin has its shaker top and original yellow cap in place. As shown in the photos, this vintage tin is in very good condition for its age with nice bright colors and sharp details. It does have some normal surface wear and light soiling, including a few small marks, light scuffs or scratches, and possibly a light dent or ding. The paper label is in nice shape with “65” noted on its front and some wear along the top edge as shown. This vintage Wyeth “Sopronol Powder” advertising tin would make a great addition to your collection!
