Vintage black-and-white 8\" x 10\" photograph depicting a boat named “Bobbie Girl” underway near the Vancouver, Washington Yacht Club.
An American flag flies from the stern, giving the image a wonderful mid-century boating and Pacific Northwest feel.
The reverse is labeled “1950’s Vancouver Wa. Yacht Club,” providing useful period and location identification.
The photograph has been carefully stored inside a clear protective sleeve and secured to a backing board using clear photo corners. It is not currently glued to the backing board, however there is evidence of prior glue on the reverse of the image. Please see photos.
A great piece of Vancouver, Washington local history and an appealing photograph for collectors of vintage boating, yacht club, maritime, Columbia River, or Pacific Northwest memorabilia.
Condition
Vintage pre-owned condition with expected age-related wear. Photograph presents nicely overall. Protective plastic may show light surface marks, reflections, or handling wear. Stored with clear photo corners on a backing board and not permanently glued in place. There is, however, previous glue residue on the back of the image from prior mounting decades ago.
