Up for sale is an exceptionally rare, original 1950s Sip's New Dairy promotional space helmet novelty mask.
Distributed as a children's premium giveaway at their local shop at 4324 Main St. in Manayunk, Pennsylvania, this piece features incredible mid-century retro-futuristic graphics. The design showcases bold atomic lightning bolts, a stylized space dome, and a spiral antenna reminiscent of vintage Flash Gordon or Buck Rogers serials.
Condition Details for Collectors:
• Graphics & Color: Outstanding, crisp color registration with vibrant reds, bright yellows, and clean silvers. The white background remains bright with only negligible, uniform age toning.
• Structure: The cardstock is structurally sound and lies completely flat. There are NO major creases, folds, water stains, or tears. Die-cut rectangular eye holes have sharp, undamaged borders.
• Elastic Band: Incredibly rare to find intact—the original white elastic string is present and securely attached.
• Hardware: The original metal T-bar staples show expected minor oxidation/rust spotting around the attachment points, confirming its 70+ year age and authenticity.
