Original vintage Saks Fifth Avenue round hat box with classic mid-century department-store styling.Looking at the box in person, the lid has a muted brown/gray striped finish with the large script “Saks Fifth Avenue” logo across the top. The cylindrical body has a tan and brown crosshatch/plaid pattern with darker bands around the top and bottom.A greenish fabric carrying cord is attached through the sides, and the interior retains the original tan cardboard lining along with old tissue paper.This is a nice piece of original department-store memorabilia for collectors of vintage fashion, Saks Fifth Avenue, millinery accessories, mid-century advertising, or decorative storage.
