Absolutely adorable vintage NAPCO/Napcoware ceramic girl planter, model C6434, made in Japan.She features a blonde ponytail, sweet hand-painted face with long eyelashes and rosy cheeks, an aqua blue dress with a large bow, white apron with gold accents, and a wrapped present in her arms. The back of her dress has an opening designed for flowers or a small plant.The underside retains the original silver National Potteries Co., Cleveland, Made in Japan foil label and is also stamped NAPCOWARE C6434.A wonderful piece of 1950s mid-century Japanese ceramic kitsch and especially cute for a vintage Christmas display with the gift she is holding.Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-related wear. There is overall glaze crazing, particularly visible on the face, dress and white glazed areas. There is wear/loss to the gold detailing around the hem of the apron as well as some minor marks and surface wear.
