Up for sale is a rare, fully functional vintage 1950s Hunter Division-Robbins & Myers 16-inch electric table fan (Model CG16, Cat No. CG1657).This is a premium collector’s piece with unique military provenance, featuring a bold, authentic painted property stamp reading "USARC" (United States Army Reserve Command) across the base. The heavy cast-iron base also includes factory-drilled mounting holes—perfect for bolting it securely to a heavy workbench or mounting it high up on a garage/shop wall to save floor space.Condition & Functionality:

• Motor & Airflow: Exceptionally strong, quiet, and efficient. This fan features Hunter’s legendary overlapping blade design that creates a massive, smooth "wind tunnel" column of air without the loud buffeting noise of modern fans.
• Full Mechanical Operation: Runs smoothly through multiple speeds AND oscillates beautifully. The oscillation mechanism is engaging and rotates at a controlled speed.
• Wiring: The power cord has been updated to a safe, clean plastic 2-prong cord, meaning it is entirely plug-and-play and ready for daily garage or shop use without the fire hazard of degraded 1950s rubber wires.
• Cosmetics: Shows off a rugged, authentic sand tan military depot finish with an incredible industrial patina. The small cosmetic plastic cap for the rear speed selection knob is missing, but the switch itself turns cleanly and functions perfectly.

This is a "tank" of a fan built in Memphis, Tennessee, during the peak era of American manufacturing. It is the ultimate crossover piece for a vintage industrial enthusiast, a military surplus collector, or someone looking for the highest quality garage workshop fan available.

• Specs: 110-120V | 60 Cycles | 0.70 Amps | Serial Letter: K | Made in U.S.A.

Note: This fan is incredibly heavy due to the solid cast iron and steel construction. It will be meticulously packed, double-boxed, and padded to ensure it arrives safely to the next caretaker.
