A beautiful, authentic piece of French rural history. This complete set of 10 vintage green glass bottles and their original wooden distribution carrier was recently discovered tucked away in a barn in the Corrèze region of France.The bottles feature the embossed star manufacturer's mark on the base and carry 8 original paper labels from "Aux Caves d'Argentat" (Mespoulet), a historic mid-century beverage distributor in south-central France.The entire set has been gently cleaned to remove loose barn dust while preserving its wonderful, authentic rustic patina. The wooden crate and dividers are structurally sound.
