Shaw as part of the company’s collectible line of licensed Walt Disney character ceramics from the mid-20th century.Gus is depicted in his classic green cap and shirt with brown shoes, finished in a glossy hand-painted glaze. His wonderfully expressive face and oversized ears make this a particularly charming example of early Disney ceramic character design.This example retains its original Walt Disney Productions / Evan K. Shaw foil label, an especially desirable feature for collectors of Shaw Disney ceramics.Measurements: Approximately 3.5” tall x 2” wide.Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs observed. Age-related crazing is present throughout the glaze, consistent with its age. Original foil label remains attached with expected age-related wear.
