Sweet little country mouse salt & pepper shaker pair featuring a farmer/gentleman mouse carrying a basket and a bonneted lady mouse with her apron and basket.
Made of a matte, bisque-style ceramic with a wonderfully old-fashioned cottage/farmhouse look.
These have lots of character and lots of wear! Both show substantial paint/finish loss, rubbing, discoloration and surface wear throughout, giving them a very weathered, timeworn appearance. Please see photos closely for exact condition. Both retain their bottom plugs and are marked China.
Perfect for a cottage kitchen, farmhouse display, mouse collection or anyone who prefers their little ceramic rodents with some mileage on them.
