Vintage mid-century ceramic lady dinner bell, often referred to as a "Fancy Pants" figurine.
Popular in the 1940s and 50s. A hand-painted figural bell depicting a woman with a stylized black hairstyle and a disgruntled or "grumpy" expression. The hollow skirt serves as the bell's resonator, featuring a ceramic "clapper" inside that looks like a pair of legs.
Stamped FW inside skirt, but after researching, this looks VERY MUCH like similar California Cleminson bells. However, there are no other pink ladies listed, only blue!
In good vintage condition - some crazing. No chips or cracks! Fabric now has minor fraying. SEE PHOTOS
