Vintage 1950s Baby Portrait Snapshot Photo 2.5x3.5 B&W Gelatin Orig Scalloped
Original vintage 1950s black-and-white snapshot photograph on paper depicting a baby lying on a pillow and tucked under a textured crocheted blanket.
The infant faces the camera directly with a serious expression, wearing a light dress and knit sweater against a patterned pillow and dark upper background.
The print is a small vertically oriented gelatin-silver photograph on single-weight photo paper with softly scalloped white borders, unmounted and unframed.
The reverse side carries a handwritten ink message addressed to Dot that reads, \"Hi Dot: I wish I lived nearby so you could take me strolling in my buggy. Whom do you think I look like? I have light brown hair & dark blue eyes. Love Clare Regina.\"
A separate handwritten reference slip pictured with the photograph notes the approximate overall size as ≈ 2.5\" x 3.5\".
Actual Measurements: ≈ 2.5\" x 3.5\" overall.
The listing is for one loose, unframed original photograph only; any brass display stand, handwritten reference slip, or other props visible in the images are used solely for scale and presentation and are not included.
Condition: Original vintage 1950s black-and-white snapshot photograph on paper with typical light handling and storage wear from age and use. Image surface shows mild overall age toning, scattered fine specks, a few light surface scuffs, and a short shallow crease along the right margin extending into the pillow background. Scalloped borders display slight corner softening and minor edge wear without tears or paper loss, and the reverse has a clear handwritten ink inscription. Photograph is offered as a single small unframed original print only; any brass display stand, handwritten reference slip, or other props visible in the listing images are used solely for scale and presentation and are not included.
