Vintage 1950s Adirondack #7 Softball Bat – 35\" – Pre‑1960 Dolgeville Model:
$26.99

You can practically feel the stubborn determination radiating off this pre‑1960 Adirondack #7 softball bat. This thing has survived decades, teenagers, questionable repairs, and at least one moment where someone said, “Yeah… nails will fix that.”

According to the previous owner, this 35-inch legend met its match sometime in the 1950s or early 60s when a teenager swung just a little too hard — and the bat cracked. Now, a normal person might’ve retired it. But this kid? No. He went full frontier‑engineer, nailed it back together, wrapped the whole thing in grip tape like a post‑apocalyptic field dressing, and marched right back onto the diamond.

And here’s the wild part:It worked. The bat held. The swings continued. And the legend grew.

Over time, this Adirondack became the kind of bat that other bats whispered about. The kind of bat that could walk into a zombie apocalypse and walk back out without a scratch. Honestly, if it weren’t such a unique collectible, you’d still use it today — it feels that solid.

Fast‑forward to 2016, when its distant cousin Lucille got her big break on The Walking Dead. Sure, she got the fame, the lights, the dramatic monologues… but this bat? This one has real survivor energy. No Hollywood makeup. No stunt doubles. Just nails, grip tape, and pure willpower.

This is your chance to own a vintage survivor with more personality than half the cast of Season 7.(Satire disclaimer: No, there is no 23 Termites & Me DNA test confirming this bat is Lucille’s long‑lost relative. But if a Cherry Springwood talk show wants to run that segment, we’ll act shocked.)
