Vintage 1949 Shawano Evening Leader Newspapers Lot of 5 Wisconsin Junk Journal For Sale

Lot of five original newspapers from the Shawano Evening Leader dating to 1949. These authentic vintage papers feature a variety of historical headlines covering local Wisconsin events, crime reports, and global news including references to theaters/movies, local businesses, communism, comics, crimes, and one snippet regarding a certain theft of hams. Notable articles include reports on a CIO strike at a Ford plant, and classic period advertisements for Packard automobiles and local cinema. These papers have a naturally aged, brittle texture with numerous tears and significant wear, making them an excellent choice for authentic ephemera in collages, junk journals, or mixed media art projects.
