Vintage 1948 Whole Sum Products Co, PA, Old Fashion Candies “Walnut Chips” Tin With Lid. A Great Find and has been kept well.
An image of a woman is on the lid and on each side of the tin. The woman is wearing a Colonial style long dress and holding a red rose on one side, a fan on the other while showing a curtsy pose on lid. The words Old Fashioned Candies is also on the lid.
Manufactured by Whole-Sum Products Co. Philadelphia, Pa. Also, at the back seam you can see 1948 in Red.
The Walnut Chips Brown Label is in wonderful condition and you can read the ingredients and the net weight. The wording is in very good shape, roses & vine still seem to be in tact.
When you remove the lid you can see wear from age and usage. Very Good Shape AND no signs of rust on the inside. Please see all photos.
