About This Postcard:
This standard 5.5 x 3.5 inch postcard was mailed from Mexico and bears a 25-centavo Mexican airmail stamp and postal cancellation. The handwritten message is dated August 13, 1944 and was sent to a recipient in Los Angeles, California. The combination of a dated WWII-era message, Mexican postage, Ciudad Juárez architecture and clearly visible vintage automobiles gives this card several strong collecting angles. Condition shows normal postal handling, corner and edge wear, age toning and handwriting on the reverse.
