Here is an awesome 1941 Southeast Missouri State Sagamore Yearbook in very good condition. So many thoughts going thru my mind as I look at all these students. It is the year 1941 WWII began in December. Wondering if it was going thru the mind of these kids. Kids then but gone now as are gone now because they would be 85 years on top of the age they are in college so well over a hundred. It is interesting to look at them wondering how their life went.
Also, do you notice how they are dressed? Very nice. Men all have ties and jackets and women are all dressed up as well. Very nice.
I know Rush Limbaugh went to school here for a part of the first year and then quit cause it was too boring. Rush would have been much later since he was born in 1951, I think. So his first year of college would have been in late 60s maybe 1969. There are some Limbaughs listed not sure how they are related. I know Rush was from that area.
