This uniform coat belonged to Kenneth Warren Jorgensen (August 13, 1928 – July 19, 2021). Enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps at the young age of 17, Kenneth went on to stand guard at Camp David for Presidents Harry S. Truman and Dwight D. Eisenhower. Later in life, as a licensed professional in Washington D.C., he was trusted to assist with monumental historical duties, including helping arrange the state funeral for President John F. Kennedy and overseeing the preparation of the President's body.
