Constructed of solid wood with finger-jointed corners, a slatted bottom and routed handholds on each short end. The low, open-top design is characteristic of commercial bakery transport trays and makes a great piece of West Coast bakery advertising and Americana.
Measures approximately 29" × 22" × 6" and weighs approximately 9 lb.
Condition: Very good vintage condition for its age and original commercial use. Shows expected age-related wear including scattered scratches, scuffs, staining, discoloration, surface grime and natural wood aging. Original LANGENDORF stenciling remains clearly visible on both long sides. Finger-jointed corners and slatted bottom remain intact. Unrestored with an attractive original working patina.
