Vintage decorative souvenir plate depicting the famous Flatirons above Boulder, Colorado. The front features a detailed scenic illustration of the Flatirons surrounded by an elaborate floral and scrollwork border with extensive gold gilt decoration.
The reverse is particularly interesting and is printed with a description titled “THE FLATIRONS”, describing them as the noted landmarks of Boulder, Colo. If you have lived in, or even just visited Boulder, you know how beautiful it is, and there are great trails around all three Flatiorns and all over Chautauqua Park!
The plate measures approximately 10 inches in diameter and appears to date to approximately the 1940s.
Condition: Vintage condition with noticeable age-related wear to the gold gilt decoration, including areas of rubbing, fading and discoloration. The scenic image and reverse lettering remain clearly visible. Please examine all photographs carefully, as the photos are an important part of the condition description.
