Grant’s classic Tricky Bottles magic illusion, believed to date from approximately the 1940s–1950s.This is the classic “Do As I Do” bottle routine in which the magician and spectator each place a bottle beneath a metal cover. Despite the spectator following the magician’s movements, the spectator’s bottle repeatedly appears upside down while the magician’s remains upright.Included:* 2 original Grant’s Black Cherry Soda glass bottles

* Vintage typed “GRANT’S ‘TRICKY BOTTLES’” instruction sheetThe surviving instructions are particularly interesting and describe the complete routine and climax, ending with the audience being prompted to say “BLACKSTONE!”The bottles retain their original-style Grant’s Black Cherry Soda / U.F. Grant Co. labels. The metal covers have the distinctive green finish with gold abstract decoration.This is a genuinely vintage magician’s working prop and shows appropriate age and use. There is wear, aging and discoloration to the bottle labels; surface/edge wear to the metal covers; and age toning, creases, small tears and punched holes to the instruction sheet.
