Vintage 1940s/50’s Peterson Shamrock Pre-Republic Billiard (5) Estate Tobac Pipe For Sale

I am reducing my pipe collection & offering a Vintage 1940s/1950s, Made in Ireland, Peterson Shamrock Billiard.Selling because I have a number 5 Shamrock as duplicate in my collection. The grain is tight and dense, the nickel band was given a quick polish, but in all, this is essentially an untouched specimen. You’ll either admire the rim marring for its authenticity and reflection of its use, or you’ll want to refresh it - obviously, I appreciate the pipe for it’s unique glimpse to its past, as it is today. I’ve very lightly buffed the stummel with carnauba wax on my buffing wheel. The stem button and bit are in good shape - You can decide if you want to go high gloss, as with the rest of the pipe, I enjoy the appearance as ‘natural’ to the age. Nomenclature stamps are legible and clear. Ive reamed the chamber, airways in the shank/stem cleaned with 99% alcohol. Pipe size: 5.25”

My pipes are generally well-cared for and have been on display for too long. It is time they are smoked and enjoyed. Stem oxidation will usually be addressed on most of my pipes & will usually be polished with carnauba wax on the buffing wheel. Feel free to ask questions about this pipe or any of my pipes I have listed for your consideration.
