Vintage 1940\'s-50\'s Tropical Hawaiian Barkcloth Fabric Red Banana Leaf 33x38\" For Sale

This is a beautiful, highly collectible piece of authentic late 1940\'s-50\'s vintage barkcloth fabric. It has the iconic \"Hawaiian Tropics\"/\"Tiki\" style design with banana leaves. The background is a crimson (think raspberry red) with soft chartreuse, sage green and crisp creamy white highlights. This is a heavyweight cotton weave with the classic deeply textured nubby feel, characteristic of authentic vintage barkcloth.
Perfect for barkcloth collectors, pillow makers, or MCM crafting projects. There is slight fading in what was probably folds of a curtain, but overall good condition.
