Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage hand-carved aromatic cedar wood keepsake and trinket chest. This piece features a gorgeous domed top trunk design with original Art Deco era details, firmly dated by a handwritten pencil inscription on the underside reading "1938".

Condition Report:
The chest is in good vintage condition with lovely, authentic character lines, minor surface scuffs, and a small wood chip on the back bottom corner as expected with age. The mirror is intact and clear, and all metal hinges and latches work smoothly.
Please note: The box is currently missing one of its wooden feet on the bottom corner. Because the foot is a simple block design, it makes a very easy restoration project for a collector or hobbyist to carve a replacement or add a balancing riser block to the base.
