Vintage 1938 Borgfeldt Walt Disney Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs Bisque Set
This vintage Snow White set was imported from Japan by the George Borgfeldt Corporation, NYC, circa 1938. These figures are from the smaller set, original box is not included, made for Walt Disney.
Each dwarf has their name on their hat, with snow white's on her skirt. On the back of each figure is impressed Walt Disney, and they have a stamp of Japan on their feet. Figures included are Snow White, Dopey, Doc, Sleepy, Sneezy, Grumpy, Happy, and Bashful. There is paint missing in places on each figure due to their age. The only chip that I observed was on the side of the foot of sleepy (see photo). These bisque figurines of Snow White and the seven dwarfs are hand painted and were made in Japan in 1938, these figurines stand at a height of 2.5 - 3.5 inches and are a part of the Disney franchise.
