This is an early-production, highly collectible 1936 Singer Model 221 "Featherweight" machine (Serial # AE415327) featuring the rare mechanical "split base" design. It is being sold As-Is, For Parts, Restoration, or Display due to cosmetic wear and a missing component required for sewing.🔴 CRITICAL DETAILS – WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

1. NO BOBBIN CASE INCLUDED: The original Simanco bobbin case is missing and is NOT included in this listing. To actually sew a stitch with this machine, the buyer will need to supply or purchase their own 221-compatible bobbin case.
2. COSMETIC CONDITION: This machine is NOT in pristine condition. It has spent decades as a working tool and shows clear age-related cosmetic flaws, including surface marks, stains, oil buildup, and localized black lacquer paint chips/peeling. Please review all high-resolution photos closely.
3. THE CASE: The original black carrying case is included for transport but is in bad / very rough cosmetic condition with heavy outer wear.
4. UNTESTED SEWING CAPABILITY: I do not know how to sew and have not threaded or fully tested this machine for sewingtiming or tension.
5. Includes the original vintage rubber motor belt stamped with SIMANCO 194144. The belt runs fine for demonstrations but shows typical age cracks, so the buyer may want to replace it for everyday heavy sewing project use."
