Up for sale is a rare, estate found original 1936 Westinghouse Golden Jubilee advertising ink blotter. This highly collectible piece of vintage paper ephemera marks the 50th anniversary (1886-1936) of the Westinghouse company.
The ad features a clever, 1930\'s pop-culture play on the world-famous Dionne Quintuplets, playfully introducing the \"De-ion Quintuplets.\" Instead of babies, the graphics feature a humorous illustration of a mother in bed caring for five Westinghouse Linestarters equipped with the \"De-ion\" arc quencher safety components.
On the bottom yellow portion, it carried the local company stamp for E.R. Beers Electric Co. of Bloomsburgh, Pa.
Excellent vintage condition. This is an estate find that was never used.
Front colors are bright with no fading, minimal edge wear or aging consistent with 90 year old paper.
