Vintage 1932 Old Judge Coffee Jar Full Original Beans Paper Label Owens Illinois
Item Description:
Up for sale is an authentic, as-found vintage 1-pound Old Judge Coffee glass jar dating to approximately 1932. This item was manufactured by the David G. Evans Coffee Co. out of St. Louis, MO.
This is a rare time-capsule piece because it is still full of its original coffee beans and retains portions of its original paper label. The bottom of the glass features the Owens-Illinois Owens plant code 7 (Alton, ILL) and date code 2.
Condition Details:
Lid: Original lithographed metal lid. Shows normal vintage wear, minor paint loss, and light oxidation, but all text is fully legible.
Glass: Excellent condition with the signature diamond grid texture. No chips, cracks, or flea bites detected. There is some minor crystallized oil residue on the inside bottom from the aging beans.
Label: Original paper label is present but heavily torn/fragmented as shown in photos.
Contents: Filled with original, decades-old coffee beans.
