Vintage Edison / General Electric electric toaster, catalog 129T31, identified in prior research as the Hotpoint Gazelle model. The underside plate reads CAT. 129T31, 525 watts, 115 volts, Edison General Electric Appliance Company, Inc. The toaster has a plated metal body and one toast opening.
Condition and operation: This toaster has not been tested. The thumb lever is stuck and cannot be moved, so it cannot be operated to load or release bread. One handle is broken. The other adjustment dial turns, but no function has been tested. The plating is in very poor condition with extensive pitting, corrosion, rust, and finish loss. The original two-prong cord is badly deteriorated and should be replaced; do not plug in as-is. Any repair or rewiring should be done by a qualified technician.
The toaster appears complete as pictured, but internal completeness and repairability are not guaranteed. Sold as-is for parts or restoration. Please review all original photos for markings, condition, and included components. Includes the toaster and attached cord shown; no other accessories are included.
