Vintage 1930s Wine Glass June Topaz (Yellow) Pattern by Fostoria:
$42.00

Up for your consideration this absolutely gorgeous vintage (1930s) Wine GlassJune Topaz (Yellow) Pattern by Fostoria Glass Company in near excellent condition - no issues noted. Glass measures approximately 2-¼\" in diameter at the rim, 2\" in base diameter and 5-½\" in height.
Fostoria\'s June Topaz (produced from 1929 to 1938) epitomizes Elegant Depression Glass. It pairs a rich, glowing yellow color with a delicate acid-etched floral design. This style reflects the optimistic glamour of the Art Deco era, characterized by elaborate scrollwork, bows, and graceful, feminine curves.A vibrant, translucent yellow known as \"Topaz\" that catches the light and brings warmth to a dining table. The famous \"June\" etching (etch #279) features a highly detailed center floral spray bordered by elegant ribbons, bows, and delicate scrollwork. Unlike standard, mass-produced depression glass, June Topaz is classified as \"Elegant Glass\". It boasts superior clarity, finer hand-blown/pressed molds, and hand-finished details. The Fostoria Glass Company was a manufacturer of pressed, blown and hand-molded glassware and tableware. It began operations in Fostoria, Ohio, on December 15, 1887, on land donated by the townspeople.Fostoria was considered one of the top producers of elegant glass. It had over 1,000 patterns, including one (American) that was produced for over 75 years. Showrooms were located in New York, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, and other large cities. Fostoria products were made for several U.S. presidents. The company employed 1,000 people at its peak in 1950.I found no significant condition issues with the item, but signs of previous use and ownership should be expected consistent with its vintage timeline and should be taken into consideration with age and ownership.
Please note: I will accept any reasonable offer.
