Vintage 1930s Bronze/Brass Jester Bottle Cork Stopper, Made In Belgium-RARE FIND
Unique and quite rare, detailed jester figure mounted on a tapered cork base, used as a barware bottle stopper
These novelty items were made in small metal foundries in Belgium producing decorative cast-brass and bronze bar accessories for export and the European tourist trade.
Measures approximately 4-1/4\" Long with cork. Fits common wine bottle opening.
Very nice condition with a wonderfully aged patina. If desired, this could be polished to shine, but it does look great the way it is.
The cork shows some wear from being used. It is almost 100 years old.
