Beautiful vintage handmade cotton bib apron dating approximately to the 1930s–1940s. See photos and read condition notes.
Made from lightweight cotton with a gorgeous large-scale floral print in coral pink, red, aqua blue, lavender and leafy green. Rather than the small novelty florals often seen on vintage aprons, this fabric has large, loose painterly blossoms that give it wonderful visual impact.
The standout feature is the full multi-tiered skirt, constructed with successive gathered sections to create a sweeping, flounced shape.
The fitted bib extends into an around the neck strap while contrasting deep pink/red binding finishes the outer edges.
