Vintage Pair of Unusually Colored Ivory with Green Glazed, Art Deco single-light, tapered Rookwood Candleholders made in 1929 by The Rookwood Pottery Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio. Features paneled stems and candle cups, each of which flares out gently from the bottom. The green glaze has been applied so that the paneled elements of the candlesticks and the rims show through. Both have wide pedestal feet for stability and flat rims to catch drips of hot wax.
The candleholders are in very good+ condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs, only minimal candle wax residue. They are 5" tall and 3" in diameter at the base. The top rims are 2" across measured from the outside edges. The nozzles are 1" wide and just over .5" deep. Marked on the bottom with Rookwood's impressed "RP" flame logo and the Roman numeral XXIX..
