Vintage pair of authentic Rookwood Pottery matte pink candle holders, shape number 2633, marked XXVI (1926) on the underside.
Features a beautiful Arts & Crafts design with stylized floral decoration surrounding the candle socket and a soft matte pink glaze. The lighting is difficult to catch the color perfectly but they’re pink, not brown. I think the pics are giving them a brown look.
Condition:
• One candle holder has a hairline crack inside the candle opening (see close-up photo). It starts at base but doesn’t go to top. It’s super hard to see, every time I have to search for it with a flashlight.
• Light age-related wear consistent with vintage use.
• No major chips noted.
• Displays beautifully and would make a wonderful addition to a Rookwood collection.
Measurements:
• Approx. 4 1/4” diameter
• Approx. 2” tall
From a clean, non-smoking home.
