Up for sale is a remarkably well-preserved original 1922 Knights of Pythias celluloid pinback button, custom-manufactured over a century ago to celebrate the 50th (Fifty) Golden Jubilee anniversary (1872–1922) of Madison Lodge No. 21 (Twenty-One).
This rare piece of historical exonumia features brilliant, unfaded coloration showing the traditional Pythian crest, including the knight\'s helmet, crossed battle axes, and the symbolic \"FCB\" shield. The celluloid is smooth with excellent gloss, free from the heavy cracking, severe foxing, or deep denting commonly found on century-old buttons.
