Up for sale is a rare, authentic matching pair of original 1920s Art Deco \"Graphic Arts\" bookends manufactured by the highly collectible Pompeian Bronze Company. This model (Model No. 106) features a striking classical bas-relief scene depicting ancient artisans deeply focused on their historic crafts: a scribe working on a tablet on the left side, and a potter shaping a vessel on the right side, beautifully framed by a classical architectural archway.Construction & Craftsmanship:These are genuine \"bronze-clad\" bookends created using an intricate, early-20th-century electro-deposition process. This specialized technique coated a heavy, solid foundational core with a seamless, durable outer layer of real bronze.
