Step back into 1919 with this stunning street view of Jaffa Street in Jerusalem. You can practically hear the bustling conversations and the crunch of footsteps on the road. The scene is packed with fantastic historical details from the stone architecture with those beautiful arched doorways on the left to the sharply dressed gentleman taking a stroll along the stone wall on the right. The back is thoughtfully dated June 19th 1919 in gorgeous cursive handwriting right near the start of the British Mandate era. As for condition it is looking incredibly sharp for being over a century old. You will spot some very minor corner rounding and a touch of edge wear along with some light age toning on the back. It remains beautifully unposted and wonderfully preserved without any distracting creases.
