Up for sale is an authentic, vintage 1917–1922 Texas "First Issue" passenger license plate (Serial Number: 495206). This important piece of early American automobilia features the iconic, deep-stamped vertical "TEX" on the right-hand margin.
Condition Highlight:
Unlike many surviving iron plates from this era that suffer from severe warping or bowing, this plate lays beautifully flat. There is only a minor, negligible 1/4" lift on the bottom-left edge corner.
