Offered for sale is an authentic 1906 vintage double-wide panoramic folding mail card featuring "No. 182 Soldiers & Sailors Monument, Worcester, Mass." Published by Blanchard, Young & Co. of Providence, RI, and printed via their regional "Photone Process" monochrome lithography, this card captures a historic view of the Worcester Common.
The panoramic image shows the Civil War monument, the Old South Church spire, the Timothy Bigelow Monument, and street-level commercial storefronts. The reverse side is unposted and features original red-ink "Mail Card" text with rubber-band folding instructions and a "One cent postage all over the world" stamp box layout.
A solid addition for collectors of Massachusetts Civil War monuments, Worcester history, or early folding postcards by Blanchard, Young & Co. Please review the high-resolution photographs to independently check the surface smudging, reverse foxing, and the condition of the center fold line.
